Bourne House

A comfortable, modern detached house in the rural village of Plaxtol, Bourne House is ideally suited for those who want to explore the area, as well as those who want to get away from it all. Set in pretty gardens, with a tinkling stream at the bottom of the garden, visitors can enjoy the conservatory overlooking fields and parkland.

Three bright and airy bedrooms - one en-suite, plus a double room with private bathroom or a single room with private bathroom which can be booked as a suite of two rooms with private bathroom, including a Jacuzzi bath.

Start the day with a delicious breakfast with a wide variety of choices with local produce wherever possible. Breakfast is served on pretty china and sparkling glassware in the bright and airy dining room overlooking the gardens with its tinkling stream and backing onto open countryside. Or relax with a freshly brewed coffee in the sunny conservatory. It would be hard to find a more pleasant breakfast experience.

Walkers and cyclists are welcome, with storage facilities for cycles and muddy boots as well as an area for drying damp clothes.

Jane and David are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble when it comes to ensuring a wonderful stay for their guests.
