The Chapel Down Winery is home to the largest producer of English wines. Our visitor facilities feature a large wine and fine food store selling local and seasonal produce.
Visitors to Chapel Down are invited to wander in the wine and fine food store, landscaped grounds, herb garden or vineyards themselves. If you would like to know more, you can book onto a guided tour to learn about the history of English Wines and the challenges of growing grapes in a cool climate. Tours run throughout the summer months and include a wine tasting of a selection of sparkling, white and red wines. You can now enjoy a truly inspiring dining experience in our first floor restaurant, 'The Swan'. Opened in May 2012, the newly refurbished restaurant serves a great value, locally sourced English menu with homemade treats, sharing boards and savouries available throughout the day in a uniquely beaurtiful environment. With a great bar featuring the best of British drink and a terrace with spectacular views, you're welcome to just pop in for a drink too.
