A castle of wonder set in the heart of 1066 Country. The exterior is virtually complete with walls rising dramatically above the moat and enough of the ruined interior survives to give an impression of castle life. With spiral staircases and battlements to explore and wonderful views across the High Weald, come and let the castle capture your imagination. Gruesome and surprising tales of castle life can often be heard from our colourful characters from the past and with a variety of events taking throughout the year, there is something for everyone.
