Small, spacious, quiet green field, tent only campsite in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Purpose built shower & toilet block with washing up area. Tourist information available and a freezer for ice blocks. Fires allowed in hired fire pits, logs and local charcoal for sale. Pre-erected tipi style tents also available for hire. Enjoy a short walk to The Chequers Inn, or visit our award winning butcher, S W Doughty, for sausages and all kinds of other fine foods, or simply borrow one of our walk maps and discover a patchwork of woods, fields, villages and grazed downland. Open Easter to October. Hostel accommodation also available.
